Welcome to the Yellow Trail Research Center!  We are brand-spanking new, as we just opened to the public on June 5th, but we are very excited to share the gems of the Hope area and its people with you!

We are proudly digitizing research material using OCR Technology  (Optical Character Recognition).  This is the same technology used by Newspapers.com, that has transformed the Genealogy World.  OCR allows you to search for text within a document, giving you access to those hidden goldmines.

Our Collection includes Local Family History Genealogies, Record Books, Scrapbooks, Photos, Documents, Genealogy Ref Books, Magazines and more.  Although we are in our infancy, we have already scanned over 1,000 files focused on Hawcreek and Flatrock Townships.  From our pioneer days with the Moravians and Martin Hauser, to schools, towns, businesses, military and churches, we are rediscovering, documenting and preserving the rich history of the Hope area and its families.

Come visit us in the back room of the Yellow Trail Museum, in Hope, Mondays & Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm, or by appointment.  Stay tuned for more exciting news from the Yellow Trail Research Room.
